Again a pic from my archives, this time about the species named Giant Club (Clavariadelphus pistillaris (Fr.) Donk) - so, as autumn, the main fungal season, is coming to the Northern hemisphere, I'm back into the fungi club. :-) This species is occasional in Hungary, I managed to find it a few times. Mycorrhizal with beech (Fagus), not edible (bitter).
Photo: taken in the B√ľkk National Park, a few kilometres from J√°vork√ļt ranch, in shutter priority exposure mode. No PP except for re-sizing to the TN-standard.
Thanks for looking.

What a uniquely shaped fungi you have presented to us. I have never seen anything quite like it here in the U.S. You can really understand how it got its name:) Exceptional detail and perfect lighting. I love the very low POV you chose, I feel like I am lying right next to it on the ground. Awesome shot!!
Nice to see this attractive shaped fungi. Perfect name! Well captured in vertical frame. Details and light look nice. Good work, no doubt.
I like fungi but can't find :-( to capture.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice week,
