The Gray Catbird meowing
|[Richtlijnen voor opmerkingen] Opmerking van de fotograaf|
|Hello friends, The Gray Catbird who launches his cry,|
photo taken today, it is a first for me, for the first time
I photograph this species of bird.
1/125s f/5.6 ISO1600 85mm (35mm eq:127mm).
«If you’re convinced you’ll never be able to learn bird calls,
start with the Gray Catbird. Once you’ve heard its catty mew
you won’t forget it. Follow the sound into thickets and vine
tangles and you’ll be rewarded by a somber gray bird with
a black cap and bright rusty feathers under the tail.
Gray Catbirds are relatives of mockingbirds and thrashers,
and they share that group’s vocal abilities, copying the sounds
of other species and stringing them together to make their own song.»

Hi Asbed,a new satisfaction,a first time is always a great thing, especially after years and years in the forest. A great timing to take it with the open beak when it lauch its cry, very good sharpness despite the distance . Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
Les branches cadrent bien l'oiseau. La prise d evue permet de voir les détails de l'oiseau Moqueur chat. Une bonne gestion de la lumière intense qui ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne journée.
Great view of this bird. We have them all around in maryland, and in fact their call is very much like a cat. You image does seem a little overexposed or perhaps exposure ratcheted up in post-processing.
Beautiful new species for me. "Catbird"! I didn't hear before. Quite well captured in such busy place. Coliur looks natural and good sharpness.
Thanks for sharing,
