[Richtlijnen voor opmerkingen] Opmerking van de fotograaf
I was thinking it was about time I updated my home page when I noticed this morning that over 1,000 fellow treknature photographers have come passed my site and left massagers of encouragement, so this picture is my way of saying thankyou to all of you for taking the time out to do so.

Its been a great experience the last eleven months or so and to say the least I have seen some truly amazing shots, and I hope to see a whole lot more, so thankyou for all you comments , critics and workshops there very much appreciated.

Cheers Rick :)

P.S. The Nikon isn’t mine !

Hi Richard!

Maybe this could be a good advice: send your picture to Nikon, perhaps they would use it for their advertisment. I would...

It's a funny picture and a good change to what we usually see here!

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Richard,
I appreciate (but don't merit) the Thankyou post of yours. To redeem it I propose a workshop version of your nice and so typically Australian bowerbird checking out the flash.
My best regards, have fun
Dietrich

Hello Rick,
Nice capture of this great guy from the Nikon crowd!
And I notice he has gone a step further than I have as he has taken on the Nikon colours too...
Send the image to Nikon right away, they will love it!
Greetings,
Pablo -

hi richard
a vey good and funny picture

aleks
best regards

the shot of the day! birds like nikons? *g* awesome and funny capture! :-) at the right moment at the right place.
well done & best wishes, thor.

Hi Rick, nice capture of this Bower Bird on this very great perch. The colour is good and the isolation of the bird and camera from the background. Meyerd's workshop is a good one in helping with the shadow detail.

Thanks, John

Hey Richard,
I've seen this scenario posted before on TN. I also always had the thought, if that was my camera & lens, the bird would be poopin' all over it! ;}}
Ok - I see the camera isn't yours..and it's a nikon..Tell the bird to go ahead & s*#t all over it!! ;-}}}

Hello Richard,

Sorry, I keep all my attention on TE, so I seldom visit TN. I have stacks of great Regent Bowerbird pics from my many visits to Lamington NP. The secret is, they are attracted by sultanas, and will eat them right out of your hand! Surely, one of my most loved birds, I have a T-shirt featuring on of these brilliant guys on the front of it. A fantastic shot, glad to see them enjoying the fine technology. Take care,

Matt

Hi Rick, splendid composition, very sharp and neat, splendid colors and funny point of view, excellent work,

fantastic moment captured there Richard! so appropriate for a nature photography site since i'm sure many of us spend a lot of time out there with camera's ready for birds. well done!

another at Lamington i'd assume? these guys were in abundance there when i visited. i'll get to my Regent's when time and my photo limit allows.

thanks for sharing

Hi Rick, This is a good one for the nature bird site. What is the name of the bird species, it is very attractive with the yellow cap. The clarity of your bird shots is very good, something i fall short on due to hand holding all my shots TFS. Murray.

PS I notice you have a 400 mm lens, must be handy at times.

I think he likes you! I carried my trip[od all over Asia for 4 1/2 years, and never used it once...... now I wish I had it, especially if it attracts such neat birds! hahahaha. I left it under the bed in the last place I lived in the USA. Your picture is beautiful and really cute!

Ha...ha... this is wonderful! Pleased to hear the Nikon isn't yours :-) Nice post process work. Congrats! :-)

Wonderful composition. Thanks for sharing.

Can't stop smiling at this photograph. Its one of those which tells - 'I shoot you, you shoot me!!!'
Beautiful moment, spectacularly captured.
Congratulations!!!
