[Richtlijnen voor opmerkingen] Opmerking van de fotograaf
Yesterday after two days of snow we decided to make a trip out to the Cypress Hills and what a treat we had. We saw five Moose, two yearlings, two cows and a bull. There was at least a couple of hundred deer both Mule and White-tail. But the real winner was the scenery, the freshly fallen snow and a thick coating of frost from the ice fog. Truly a magical winter wonderland, I wish I had a better eye for shooting landscapes. This image is of a yearling Moose that was so inquisitive that we were able to get very close, but she always had to have a tree between us, thus the title of this posting. I was sure glad we have a four wheel drive yesterday as many of the roads in the park were closed.

Hello Rick,

A splendid shot immediate behind the tree the head of the animal.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
We see almost all details of snow on the head.
You did very well, I can enjoy of these picture.

Greetings,
John

Hi Rick,

We are jealous of you being able to see these animals so close to home. If you'd like some shots of rain, we could oblige you! I really like the capture you made of her peeking around the tree at you. I did a quick workshop to see if removing some of the dull blue cast would perk up the image a bit and especially to reveal more of those wonderful eyes and eyelashes!

Hi Rick!

You present us a fine portrait of a Moose. I like the composition with the animal looking from behind the tree. The picture also reflects the winterly atmosphere at best and I appreciate the narrative notes very much.

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Rick,
It's been a long time, good to see you again. This one is great, I love the nice close up, even with the low light, you got really nice details. The snowy background is really nice to show it's natural environment in this winter lanscape. It should be "Peek a Moose"

Oh my goodness, what a sweet little face you captured peeking out through the trees. Love the snow on her nose and her big eye lashes. Excellent colour and sharpness.
