hello friends, this Chukar Partridge it become
my 57th species of birds that i shoot in photo,
last saturday -sunday i was at pointing dogs
competition (field trial) and evaluation of the dog

the saturday i was as official photographer,
i tried 4 times shooting the Chukar Partridge
in photo in the air and had 2 good and
the 2 others off-focus photos

i am also inviting you to go and view
on the WORKSHOP this time a photo
of a pointing dog at that competition,
the dog it is flying like a bird over the grass !

i have photos of Celtick, Ranger and 2 other
pointing dogs that in their run their feet
is not touching the ground but the one that
i am posting in the WORKSHOP it is my best one

i also have photos of Celtick and Ranger
flying like a bird over a lake water

the photo in the WS it is not Ranger,
it is another dog same breed as Celtick
and Ranger, Korthals Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

don't forget to click to the WORKSHOP

from the All About Birds website

« A native of southern Eurasia, the Chukar
was introduced into the United States from
Pakistan to be a game bird. It lives in arid,
rocky terrain across the western United States
and southern Canada.

The Chukar varies slightly in color across
its native range in Eurasia. In more humid
areas they are darker and more tinged with
olive-brown on the upperparts and are more
warmly colored on the underparts,
whereas birds in more arid areas tend to
be grayer and paler, less brown on the
upperparts and paler on the underparts. »

Merci

Asbed

Hallo Asbed
I like this image of the flying bird against the blue sky filled with lovely clouds. The sight of its opened wings are beautiful. Its head and neck pointed frontwards is lovely and gives the feeling of determination. I also looked at your workshop and oh what a pretty sight. It is a lovely dog and it displays so well in a jumping pose against the green grass. Thanks for sharing both images and for sharing a bit more of your love for dogs. Best regards.
Anna

Hello Asbed,
A fine capture requiring quick reflexes and coordination, The result is that you captured the features of this Chukar with good clarity.
I didn't know this species was introduced into the N. Amercian continent. Partidges are also bred to be used in European shooting and Pointer training.
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan

Hi Asbed,

Good morning My friend. Wonderful in-flight capture and attached funny lovely dog while running. A nice post to wake up:)
TFS and have a nice day MF!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hi Asbed,

Your camera have it difficult to handle the exposure light.
White clouds are overexeposed. Also the details from the flying bird are not so good as your previous pics.
Sorry that I am honest.
I have been much better pictures from you.
Fine colours.
Good usefull notes.

Gert

Hallo Asbed,

Dear Asbed!

The overall effect of your post is pleasant: the picture and the text as well as the workshop form a fine unity with a narrative part as well as an instructive one. I want to say that the documentary and entertainemnt aspect of your post is clearly present and I appreciate it.

I only regret the lack of quality of your pictures. The clouds are overexposed and the result is an almost total loss of details. The bird is quite small on the picture and shows only few details. In the WS you show us a fine picture of a running dog, but there's obviously a problem with the colours that seem to be oversaturated and not set with the correct white balance.

I can't help telling you this in that way, I also do not understand why other TN members - except Gert - do not point this out. For me friendship and the sense of a community like ours does also include honesty. Telling a friend that he can improve the photographical quality is also the proof af friendship.

I hope you don't mind!

Kind regards

Markus

Salut Asbed

Merci
Amicalement
Laurent

Hi Asbed,

I never knew you were the official photographer of the pointing dog club. I'm sure you love it and that the members appreciate your work. I love the wings and tail feathers of this Partridge - especially against the white clouds. But I love even more the galloping dog in the workshop (even though it wasn't Ranger.

Jane

I like the cloud formations Asbed, they make a nice backdrop to your partridge on the wing. Cool dog too :)
Good work!

bonjour asbed
WOW ! 57 espèces d'oiseau differents, c'est vraiment géant !
bravo pour cette perdrix choukar volant dans un beaux ciel de nuages blancs, capturée avec la même classe que toutes les autres
Passe une bonne nuit
Jacqueline

Hello Asbed friend,
I was missing your photos! ... but this "in flight" is a typical example of what you do! ... ver good job! ... and also congratulations for the excellent photo in the WS of a "flying dog ".... that really is not common! :)
Regards, TFS, Jesús

Hi Asbed,

This too is superb shot of the flying Partridge. Nice to see the spread wings and those tiny legs in the lovely background. The clouds in the sky also add lot of beauty to the shot!

TFS,
Kedar
