[Richtlijnen voor opmerkingen] Opmerking van de fotograaf
I have captured this 'Long-Tailed Widow Bird ๐Ÿฆ'(Euplectes progne) at Marieval Bird ๐Ÿฆ Sanctuary early in the morning . Due to its big tail, it's very difficult to frame.

It's a male one and it looks he is very proud of his gorgeous tail ๐Ÿ˜‚. Due to bit cloudy โ›… weather light wasn't such great but enough to get a decent picture โ˜บ.
Adult breeding males are almost entirely black with orange - red and white shoulders.

This species found in Angola ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ด, Botswana ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ผ, Kenya ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช, Lesotho ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ธ, Swaziland ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฟ, Zambia ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฒ etc.

Hi Srikumat,it's a very goos suprise this beautiful bird that i never seen before, the pic is excellent, just the end of tail is a bit blurred but the right part is absolutely perfect, lucky light for a very bright result. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hi Srikumar,
I was hoping for exactly such a picture from a Widow Bird: its long tail ondulating in flight, you caught it so well, congratulations. In the iconography of the Egyptian Old Empire you find winged and feathered Snakes. I always saw in this an allusion to Widow birds (don't take it serious, I'm no egyptologist).
Greetings, Dieterich

Hello Srikumar,
eye-catchingly dynamic capture of this exquisite long-tailed bird in the dim light of early morning.
Congratulations for you patience and success. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter
