| Inleiding: | Dec 9 2010 The latest turn of events on TN has led me to change my profile a little. I am continuing to be active on TN for the following reasons: I have a life long interest in Nature and during my long life I have accumulated knowledge that can be useful to the site, especially where species identification is concerned. As images on this site are viewed by many who are not members it is extra important to have correct information on the subject. I am interested in nature photography without emphasising photography as my main purpose. The subject is more important in my view. I am prepared to help others with both their photography and their knowledge of nature. This does not mean that I regard myself as superior in either aspect. As we are in the process of destroying the biodiversity of this planet, this site can have a small positive effect in stimulating an interest in nature and the more members are active the better.
